Chris is the Project Manager for LPDU and takes responsibility for developing the environmental and sustainable facets of the units operations including managing business support projects, student supervision and contributions to research in relevant areas. Chris manages the ERDF Sustainable Product Development Project, a 15 month-long initiative that promotes regional economic growth through environmental awareness using carbon footprint and mitigation methods. Chris holds an MSc in Environmental Science, a BSc (Hons) in Geography, is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and an Associate Member of the Institute for Knowledge Transfer. Chris is seconded on a part-time basis to Research and Enterprise Services as a Special Projects Officer where he works on system improvement and implementation of external standards.
