We have an ongoing collaboration with SMEs and large companies in the are of Micro and Nanotechnology. We have various
levels of funding to assist businesses. This means that we could be working with you at no cost to your business.

The Centre for Microsystems Engineering has a broad range of specialists available for industrial
consulting and characterisation. We offer assistance services in the following areas:

Student placements
Lancaster MNT team is linking the industrial sector with academic outreach through organising industrial placements for Lancaster MSc students in the area of Micro and Nanotechnology. If you are a company working in the MNT area and you are planning to recruit high calibre graduates with a range of practical and analytical skills please contact us since the student placements would provide the best opportunity to test and train your potential employees.
Courses
Lancaster Engineering MNT team are keen to disseminate their know-how and experience through short courses. We run CPD courses in Micro and Nanotechnology areas, which we can deliver on-site if required. We also run a popular Three Day Introductory Course to MEMS and Microfluidics at regular intervals throughout the year. More information on available courses will be available shortly.
