Electro-Mechanical Equipment Cost

The cost of electro-mechanical equipment CEM can be estimated using the following expression:

CEM = 12000 × (kW/H 0.2) 0.56    (£, 2008),

 

where kW - installed capacity (kW) and H - head (m).

The current study suggests that the cost of electro-mechanical equipment constitutes about 34 % of the total investment costs for the North West region.
