Tier 2. Transposing gauged flow statistics
You can estimate your flow duration statistics using the methodology presented here. As stated earlier, the uncertainties associated with this method are dependent upon both the accuracy of the estimates of catchment area and rainfall and the similarity between your catchment and the analogue gauging station.
Unless you have used a connected gauging station with a catchment area within a factor of two and you are confident your estimates of rainfall and catchment area are accurate, then the uncertainty associated with this are much higher than using the LowFlows regional model.
